The Owl Who Came For Christmas, based on the picture book by John Hay with illustrations by Garry Parsons, and published by Macmillan Children’s Books.

Inspired by the true story of Rosie the Owl, this charming tale celebrates the power of love, kindness, and the magic of Christmas. With toe-tapping songs, captivating puppetry, and plenty of opportunities for audience participation, this delightful show promises to captivate audiences of all ages.

The Owl Who Came For Christmas was adapted for the stage by writer, performer and Leicester Curve`s Creative Programmes Practitioner Chandni Mistry, whose credits include Ruka (part of Finding Home: Leicester’s Ugandan Asian Story at 50), Roti Moon, The Biryani Files and Dhegheer.

ANNA SYLVESTER - Anna is a Korean American Actor hailing from midwestern Ohio. She has worked on various projects from fringe theatre to feature films. She trained at Baldwin Wallace University in the States, and has studied with esteemed groups in the UK such as New Earth Academy, the Poel Workshop, and National Youth Theatre. Anna is over the moon to be joining forces with Lawrence James. @anna__sylvester

JACK TAYLOR - Jack is very excited to join the team down at TGA. He has featured in EastEnders (6 episodes) as the dodgy dealer Tez. He has also toured nationally with `The Cat and the Canary` at BKL with the likes of Brit Ekland, Marti Webb and Gary Webster. Around acting Jack has co-wrote and performed in plays that work with young people on difficult topics like racism, homophobia and the early warning signs of coercive behaviour. SALLY-ANNE HAYWARD - Sally is an actor, writer and comedian.

She can be seen frequently MC`ing the world famous Comedy Store in London, and supporting Sarah Millican on her UK and international tour. She wrote and co-hosted a radio show for the BBC which was nominated for The Comedy Award at this year`s ARIAs. Sally also hosts `Spit or Swallow` podcast with Lou Conran in which they interview celebrity guests about their drunken moments.
